Decks and Spreads

 

Below you'll find pictures and descriptions of decks you may choose for your reading. I've included a list of spreads appropriate to each deck, as well. I will be adding more decks and spreads in the future.

 Here we have The Dragon Tarot created by Nigel Suckling & illustrated by Roger & Linda Garland. This is my favorite Tarot deck to use for in-depth readings.

Spreads commonly done with this deck include:

 

  • 3 Card Readings- Past, Present, Future or Situation, challenge, outcome
  • 5 Card spread- gives more info than the 3 card spread
  • 7 Card Romany Pyramid- Perfect if you feel others misunderstand your intentions. 
  • Ouroboros Spread- Ideal for when you're looking for a yes or no answer, because these 7 cards can show you how to get there. 
  • 10 Card Spread- This is a standard spread that gives two outcomes of the same situation.

Next, we have the Elle Qui Oracle created by Arwen Lynch-Poe. I find myself reaching for this deck to pull my Card of the Day.

Spreads commonly done with this deck include:

 

  • 1 card daily reading- This is just to let you know what you should focus on during a particular day
  • 5 card Exploring Self Spread- This spread is ideal for when you want to find out more about yourself
  • 3 Card The Messengers Spread- This spread brings you a message from your heart, a message from your soul, & a message from your body.

Next, we have the African Goddess Rising Oracle created by Abiola Abrams. This is another deck I find myself reaching for again and again when seeking guidance in my own life. 

Spreads commonly done with this deck include:

 

  • 1 Card Ase daily reading- This can be done daily or just any time you need clarity in a situation. Ase translates to :"So let it be."
  • 3 Card Goddess Temple Spread- This is used to check in with yourself. The three cards represent you current state of mind, body, and soul.
  • 6 Card Talking Drum Ancestral Spread- This spread id used to communicate with your ancestors, those you've met in this life, and those you have not. 
  • 5 Card Council of Elders Spread- This is useful in making decisions in which you need to seek the advice of the Queens and Goddesses who have come before.
